This beautiful PADI 5 STAR Dive Resort is based at Shiralea Backpackers Resort and Sandy Bay Bungalows right in the middle of the beach offering FREE ACCOMMODATION with dive courses. Reefers have the largest 3m deep training pool on the island as well as all brand new equipment and offer courses from beginner up to Instructor. They have their OWN spacious dive boat and guarantee small groups and highly experienced professional guides. Reefers also do overnight trips to the National Marine Park - the inspiration for the book The Beach.

Reefers Dive Resort is Koh Phangan’s first fully inclusive 5 STAR dive resort located on the beautiful beach of Haad Yao, Koh Phangan offering superb diving holidays.

Reefers has two offices; the main centre is based at Shiralea Backpackers Resort with an additional office at Sandy Bay Bungalows right in the middle of the beach. The main centre offers everything you need for a friendly relaxed diving environment; a purpose built 3m deep training pool, classroom, equipment retail and rental. The excellent restaurant and bar are perfect for apres dive socialising.

Reefers offer daily boat and beach dives to all the best sites. Their newly refurbished fully equipped dive boat is more than comfortable for up to 20 guests to have a lovely, relaxing day. The local captain has excellent knowledge of the water and weather conditions. On day trips there are tasty lunches and snacks, drinks, cool tunes and friendly professional staff. To ensure customers satisfaction they keep their diving groups small so their guides are able to give divers all the attention they need to enjoy their dives even more.

Reefers teach all PADI courses from beginner to Pro, Speciality courses, Nitrox and Bubblemakers for the kids. For courses they keep their group size to a maximum of 4 students per instructor to ensure they become confident divers who enjoy safe diving. Reefers are able to teach courses in various languages including English, German, French and Dutch. When completing the Scuba Diver, Open Water Diver, Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver course, customers will receive free accommodation at Shiralea Backpackers Resort.

Reefers feel that Phangan is the best place to dive from in the area because Koh Phangan is closer to the best dive site in the Gulf; Sail Rock! For slightly longer boat journeys they are able to avoid the crowds that are typical when diving from our more famous neighbour Koh Tao.
